Amoxicillin belongs to the β-lactam antibiotics drugs, has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity.The antibacterial spectrum and antimicrobial activity is basically same with the ampicillin, most of the gram-positive bacteriums’ antibacterial activity is weaker than penicillin, sensitive to penicillinase,it’s invalid to penicillin-resistance staphylococcus aureus.To the gram-negative bacterium,it has a strong effect on the Escherichia coli, proteus, salmonella, haemophilus, brucella ,pasteurella and etc,but these bacterias is susceptible to drug resistance.It’s not sensitive to pseudomonas aeruginosa.As its absorption is better than the ampicillin in the monogastric animal,higher blood concentration,so it has a better treatment on the systemic infection. Applicable to the respiratory system, urinary system, skin，soft tissue and etc which caused by the sensitive bacteria.

Pharmacokinetics 

Amoxicillin is stable with the gastric acid, monogastric animal taken orally 74%-92% will be absorbed. The gastrointestinal contents affect the absorption rate,but do not affect the absorption degree,so it can feed medication.Taken orally by the same does,the serum concentration of the amoxicillin is 1.5-3 times higher than ampicillin.

Drug interactions

1.Used with the aminoglycosides can increase the concentration of the aminoglycosides in the bacterial, present the synergistic effect.

2.The quick-acting bacteriostatic agent such as macrolides, tetracyclines, amphenicols and etc have the interference effect on the bactericidal effect of this product,do not use at the same time.
